I set up this blog to convey some random info on the flooding in Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska from random sources. There are much better sources than this for info, its just a collection of random news and information.

What an amazing day. Volunteered at a sandbagging site and met some incredible people! Brought tears to my eyes to see all the different "walks of life" that busted butts to help those they don't know. Tyson brought lunch, and turns out there was way to much, so I drove around to different sites (thanks Judy for the directions) and did my best to make sure people were eating. Awesome feeling!

To anyone choosing to stay in the country club area. I spoke to someone from the information center who told me that if your vehicles are not out by midnight tonight, you may not be able to get them out. You will be able to leave on foot if needed, but after tonight it's a possibility that you won't be able to leave via
